On May 11, 2014, the Busy Bee Band & Honeybees participated in a reception for the Honor Flight at North Central West Virginia Airport in Clarksburg, WV.  Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. Honor Flight transports veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.  The May 2014 Honor Flight from Clarksburg included 50 World War II veterans, 42 Korean War veterans and one terminally ill Vietnam veteran.  Butch Phillips was instrumental in planning and fulfilling the May 2014 Honor Flight for our 93 West Virginia veterans.
